Commons Errors
1. Word order in time clauses
I will go to bed I finish my homework after.
I will go to bed after I finish my homework.
2. Using future tense in time clauses
I will call you when I will arrive. I will call you when I arrive.
3. Missing subject in the clause
Before go to school, I eat breakfast. Before I go to school, I eat breakfast.
4. Incorrect sentence structure / order
I eat dinner I finish work after. I eat dinner after I finish work. After I finish work, I eat dinner.
5. Overusing “when” for extra meaning (cause/result confusion)
I am happy when I get good grades because I study hard. I am happy when I get good grades.
